Senior Lynx placekicker Chris Catalanotto nailed a 31 yard field goal with 22 seconds remaining in the contest, as Rhodes rallied for 10 unanswered points in the final 5:26 to defeat Birmingham Southern, 10-7 at Regents Park, in Birmingham, AL.  Senior Rhodes quarterback Mark Oliver hit senior wide receiver Ty Lake on a 13 yard scoring strike that tied the contest with 5:26 to play.  For the day Oliver completed 19 of 32 passes for 219 yards, and one touchdown. The Lynx defense had another stellar day limiting the Panthers to 77 yards of total offense, and junior defensive end Desmond Hendricks had three quarterback sacks and recorded 6 tackles for losses of 32 yards. Rhodes sophomore tailback Josh McMurray led all rushers with 71 yards on 19 carries, as the Lynx improve to 2-0 on the season and will travel to Jackson, MS next week to face Millsaps.
